Bengaluru schools received BOMB threats : Emergency Holiday Declared, panic around city
Friday morning bomb threats email have been received by more than 30 schools in Silicon City Bengaluru, and in the background, an emergency holiday was announced for the schools. As soon as the news came to know, action was taken to send the students home and parents rushed to the schools to take the children.
As the news of the bomb e-mail spread, the general public of the city including students, parents and the school organization became anxious.
According to local TV reports, the e-mail warning against conversion to Islam is said to be linked to the involvement of Islamic terrorist organizations.
Certain schools in Bengaluru city have received emails today morning indicating 'bomb threat'. Anti sabotage and bomb detection squads have been pressed into service to verify and ascertain. The calls seem to be hoax. Even then all efforts will be made to trace the culprits.
